I´ve heard about how hostile americans are about illegal immigration, read texts and seen videos.
sure I understand that.

but how about legal immigrants? how you feel about them?
I am finnish, european(white) looking guy, I speak english quite well, I am training illustrator/comic artist and writer (currently at last year of high school, after that artist school).
in my country there are almost no way to get paid enough as comic artist, artist overall or writer, because it´s country of 6 million people. there are no markets, no buyers. it sucks. all good comic books (like marvel´s adaption of stephen king´s dark tower series) gets cancelled, because it just wont sell.

so I´ve been thinking about moving to somewhere at north america, canada or usa after my education. (chicago, new york, toronto, vancouver or some other big city)
sometimes I get worried about that I am not going to be getting along with people overall there because they are against immigrants taking their jobs.

but if I have green card, and in time maybe citizenship, I pay my taxes/bills and speak english very well, will I get along with locals? if I humbly do my job, write good stories, draw great art and comic books that sell (or work for some publisher like marvel), why I would be abhorred? I know there are some absolute racists who don´t absolutely allow no immigration, but how about overall?

all I just want is to get to do what I want, write good stories, (books and comic books) draw and create art.

so, how you think? and will I get along with locals overall?

while in north america there are 528,720,588 people (in 2008), so I have to disagree with you, I believe in such a high number of people there are quite a lot of comic and book readers = jobs for me.

The act — passed when the country was weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War — was a strategic move by foreign interests (international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the coffers and neck of America.

Congress cut a deal with the international bankers (specifically Rothschilds of London) to incur a DEBT to said bankers. Because the bankers were not about to lend money to a floundering nation without serious stipulations, they devised a way to get their foot in the door of the United States.
